This is the Great Liberation Album. It is a statement of personal independence from all authorities and the attainment of personal freedom (and all that it implies). To imply the parallels between the personal, the social, and the spiritual/esoteric, the album employs the metaphor of the so-called fallen angels or "Watchers" (as described in The Book of Enoch) and the idea of mutiny in heaven against tyranny, as well as the aftermath that follows.

Composed and recorded in the period of 2000—2005, originally visaged as an EP to be released late 2002 (as a companion to Stainway to Heaven EP *, 2002), the project was delayed due to other commitments and eventually evolved into a full-length album.
